When Lizelle Naude, Principal of Poplar Academy in Crowthorne, emailed Yippy at the beginning of April and said "I would like to add a few structures to our playgrounds this term" suffice to say, it made Yippys day! We'd worked with Poplar in December last year and this time, Lizelle had emailed two designs of her own that she wanted us to realise. Jason couldn't wait to get started.First of Lizelle's designs was for a Horse Ride On Climber for the Preschool playground.

He/she needs a name ... anyone? |
The design worked so well we went on to make a larger one for the Primary playground also and we'll definitely be adding the Horse Climber to our product list very soon.
The second design was for a low level Mini Jungle Gym climb through, again for the Preschool playground, another item that worked well and we'll be adding to our product list also.

It's so refreshing to have a customers input in this way, Yippy loves working on bespoke designs and Lizelles were so good, we may have to come back to her for design advice in the future ...
In addition to the bespoke items, Yippy added a Tyre Tunnel, some Bucket Swings and a low set of Monkey Bars to the Preschool Playground.

Tyre Tunnel. Where does it lead ... ?! |

Then we moved on to the Primary Playground and Horse Climber number two, the larger model, along with a very large Dragonfly Tyre Climber, that Jason had designed for Poplar last year.

We finished the project by replacing Poplars sandpit shading, with a larger Stretch Tent Shade to cover the head of the new Dragonfly as well.

It was so nice to be back in the lovely playgrounds at Poplar. Once again, the Yippy Tester Boys (owners sons, four and two) tested all equipment very thoroughly and we hope that when the children of Poplar returned for the new term, they enjoyed discovering the new 'Yippy' in their playgrounds.
